More about Fractionated Skin Resurfacing
Fractionated skin resurfacing is a revolutionary new laser process that is used for acne scars, melasma, elimination of dark spots particularly on the face, neck, chest and hands as well as smoothing the texture of the skin. Though all lasers potentially can cause complications, and there is a higher risk for pigmentation in individuals with darker skin, the Palomar laser has a lesser risk than traditional lasers.
Previously, a carbon dioxide laser or an erbium laser peel would require weeks of redness and downtime. Fractionated resurfacing results in much less redness and downtime---usually 4 days.
We also offer infra red skin tightening. This treatment can be combined with the fractional treatment to improve mild to moderate jowls or sagging of the neck. Generally, this treatment has no downtime.
