Facilities
The Stanford Advanced Skin Care Center is located on the beautiful grounds of the Stanford University campus at the Blake Wilbur Ambulatory Center, 900 Blake Wilbur Drive, Stanford, California 94305. The aesthetic dermatology center has three well-equipped surgical suites. Selected procedures are performed at the state-of-the art Stanford outpatient surgery center.

If you are a new patient, please arrive 15 minutes early to register. Please bring all insurance forms with you. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please notify our office 24 hours in advance.

Billing and Insurance
Please discuss your coverage with us in advance. If we are a provider with your insurance company, we will handle your claim according to our agreement with them. Some plans specify co-payment which is required at the time of service. You are responsible for any amount not covered by your plan. Most cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance, and require payment in full.

Fees and Financing

For Medical Related Conditions
If your insurance has a contract with Stanford, then for general dermatologic surgery needs such as skin cancer examinations and treatment, your insurance should cover the contracted amount. Depending on your insurance, you may or may not have a co-pay at the time of service.

For Cosmetic Conditions
For the initial cosmetic consultation, the charge is $100. For individual procedures that are greater than $500 per treatment then the cosmetic consultation fee is deducted from the procedure fee. Cosmetic procedure fees depend on the type of procedure. On some of our laser services such as for hair removal and photo rejuvenation, we offer packages.

For procedures such as liposuction, blepharoplasty, minilifts, etc there is a preoperative visit. At that visit, a 25% deposit is required. We require the balance at time of surgery. Because Dr. Gladstone has helped to pioneer advanced cosmetic procedures in an outpatient setting under local anesthesia, total costs are quite competitive with the community cosmetic surgeons.

0% Financing

In addition to cash, checks and credit cards, we are proud to announce a 0% financing plan for procedures costing $1000 or greater. If you are interested, you must fill out an application form prior to the procedure.  If you qualify, then half the amount of the fee is required at time of surgery, and the balance is paid over a six month period at 0% interest.
